A Systematic Approach to Partner Violence in Health Care
The
mission of the Family Peace Project is to end family violence and
promote family peace. The Family Peace Project provides education,
training and consultation to citizens, health care professionals,
organizations and communities. We are psychologists and community
activists who believe that citizens can improve their communities
by using the power of individual responsibility, civic action and
the democratic process to engage the strengths and resources of
our local communities and create local solutions to the challenges
we are facing.
Thank
you for your interest in ending family violence. Our world wide
web resources are a work in progress. What resources are working
for you? What additional materials do you need? What challenges
are you facing in the settings where you are working? Share your
ideas, experiences and resources in our Family Peace Project Discussion
Room, or send an e-mail message. The Community Mentor Discussion
Room is a place where researchers, educators and health care professionals
can talk with survivors of family violence about training and advocacy.
