The Application and Interview Process

• The Program Manager will work with you to schedule your interview.
• Interviews are conducted on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
• The interview day begins at 7:00 A.M. at the hospital and concludes after you have lunch with some of our residents (approximately 1:15 P.M.) (Click here to see our interview schedule.)
• All resident candidates are invited to shadow a faculty member or senior resident in the Family Health Center after lunch. We want to provide you an opportunity to experience "a day in the life" at our program.
• We are happy to provide lodging. You will stay at the Hotel Metro located in downtown Milwaukee.
• You are responsible for travel to and from Milwaukee, as well as transportation while in Milwaukee.
• A confirmation packet will be sent to you via U.S. Mail and by email. It'll contain your interview agenda, driving directions to the hotel and confirmation number, driving directions to the hospital, parking instructions plus additional information about Milwaukee. You'll receive it within two weeks of your interview date.
• You'll have the opportunity to have dinner with some of our residents the evening before (or evening of) your interview. Your 'host resident' will be in touch with you to coordinate dinner arrangements.
• If you're traveling with a significant other, please let us know. They are more than welcome to join you for dinner and, if desired, we can arrange a tour of the city while you interview.
