Residency: Akron City Hospital, Akron, OH

Military Experience: U.S. Navy - 2 Years - Memphis, TN

Private Practice: Established a new practice, Mansfield Family Physicians in Mansfield, Ohio 1977-1989

Prior Experience: Toledo Hospital Family Practice Residency, Associate Director 1989-1995, Program Director, 1995-2000.

Special Interests: All aspects of family medicine, but has special interests in diabetes care, dermatology, prevention, practice management, and leadership. Due to his private practice experience, Dr. Geiger brings a practical and reality-based approach to his teaching.

2007 recipient of the Gold Level Program Directors Recognition award from the American Academy of Family Physicians for his outstanding contribution and dedication to Family Medicine education.
